Congratulations to Wanda McNair, sixth grade Language Arts teacher (Team 6D), at LMS. She successfully defended her dissertation at Regent University. She will graduate with her Ed.D. in K-12 School Leadership as Dr. McNair on May 4th. The title of her dissertation was Promoting the Academic Achievement of African American Males: The ACHIEVERS Model for Systemic Change of K-12 Educational Programs and Services. She conceptualized a systemic research-based program design, the ACHIEVERS Model, to promote the social and academic success of African American male K-12 students.




Congratulations to Mrs. Christina Grady, business education teacher at LMS. She received the Teaching Tool Award from the Tidewater Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association. She was nominated for this award by Mr. Deon Garner, Assistant Principal and coordinator of our Step Up America Program dedicated to students interested in careers in aviation, math, science, and technology).

"On Saturday March 30, I attended the Regionals Spelling Bee and Kirtan Patel (Grade 8) won first place!  He is on his way to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May!!  All of the finalists from Lindsay did extremely well.  We should be exceptionally proud of them!"
